My Annoyances at Wal-Mart, and Why You Should be Annoyed as Well! (I don't think this post is capitalised correctly...)

I hate Wal-Mart. Officially. However, I don't hate it because of the normal reasons people choose.

I don't care that they're basically a monopoly.
I don't care that they're putting the little man out of business.
Hell, I don't even care about the obnoxious architecture of their buildings.

I'm angry because they no longer stock Arizona Green Tea. This infuriates me to my very core.

In recent times, Arizona Green Tea (mostly the diet kind) has become my favourite beverage. For the first time in ages, I wasn't drinking soda, but something that was incredibly refreshing, and at least slightly healthy. But now, what do I do? Wal-Mart has chosen Lipton Green Tea to take Arizona's place, but Lipton's GT (abbreviations, man. Abbvs.) is rubbish. It's absolute garbage.

Am I the only one INCREDIBLY ANGRY at this? Or, does your Wal-Mart still stock this so you don't have to be angry?

  1. If this is true, I'm going to burn my local walmart to the fucking ground! Not really, but I will want to...

  2. We don't have Wal-Mart here in New Zealand, and I don't miss it either. We do have a place called The Warehouse which is basically a knock off of the place, but eh. I feel your pain about the tea, though.

  4. Yeah, it's not bad. It's just not quite up to par with Arizona. Not my "cup of tea," if you will.

  6. We don't have Wallmarts here, but my favorite supermarket which is 2 blocks from my house doesn't have onion and sour cream pringles anymore. Only classic and spicy. At least I have 2 other supermarkets near.

  11. My Wal-mart still stocks it, if you were closer I'd ship it to you by the case.. however the problem is they only stock the fukkin green tea and the original lemon tea WTF IS UP WITH THAT?!?

No raspberry, peach, fruit punch or any of the other dozens of delicious flavours that the company produces..

and have you ever talked to a wal-mart clerk? They have no fucking idea about anything..

    UGH.

  12. Sucks they don't stock your tea anymore.

I hate wal-mart because as soon as people walk in the door it flips the asshole switch in them. People are perfectly nice and normal outside that place, but man they're rude jerks in there. I just want to grab people and shake them until I hear their heads rattle.

  13. 19: Well, ours only has the Pomegranate Green Tea from Arizona. But, I don't want that kind. I mostly drink the Diet Green Tea, but I'll settle for the regular. I know what you mean about Wal-Mart employees. Bottom of the barrel in terms of intelligence.

Ben: Definitely. Plus, everyone acts like any delay in getting them to their product is the most inconvenient thing you could ever do to them.

  14. After discovering a handicapped (electric wheelchair, dat face, drool, etc) Wal-mart employee gnawing on a wrapped DVD case, not much involving that chain surprises me anymore...

  15. I like nestea. I agree with your Walmart monopoly theory, if they are not stocking that brand is because money was involved. Following :)

  16. They only have lipton? Wow. Even our major chains, putting people out of business, have a BILLION different teas. Fellow tea drinker here.

I buy from a store that specializes in tea. I usually buy chai. Maybe google the brand and find other stockists.
